I have been sculpting for a number of years, most of what I do is achieved by forming metal using just hammers.
My interest in arts started at an early age, having spent some of my childhood in Pompei, I was being exposed to Romanic artifacts on a daily basis.I believe this was the beginning of my interest in the human form.
The work you see here is mainly made from sheet lead, on which images have been slowly pushed out by hammering.
My favourite metals are copper, lead and brass. These lend themselves well to my particular technique and, possess a colour I personally find very natural and timeless.
I am here to meet other artists, especially sculptors using traditional methods to form metal.
