My name is Simon WhiteI'm 41 years old and I am an self taught Artist.
My Likes are Abstract Expressionism, Surreallism, Drawing, Painting and like working with all kinds of medium from Acrylic Paints to Ballpoint pens.
Influences and Heroes : The art and films of David Lynch, Salvador Dali, Arshile Gorky, Vincent Van Gogh, Stanley Kubrick, Fiona Rae, Francis Bacon, Matisse, Picasso, Radiohead, Kate Bush, Stella Vine, Damien Hirst, John Lennon/Yoko Ono, John Lydon, Glenn Brown, David Hockney.
Future statement - After twenty years of staying away from Art (after recieving an "o"level in high school in Art in 1985), I rediscovered my Love for Art and Painting in 2006 and for the past five years have been experimenting with my Art, now i realise that Art is what i was born to do.
My first Exhibition will take place from the 2nd July 2011 at the Arden Hotel, Waterside, Stratford Upon Avon opposite the RSC Theatre.
