Beyond the limits of imagination :
a spiritual and futuristic art gallery
The spray art which I create does not fit any existing category in the arts ,
that is why It is a true original art that has the potential of breaking through with a new and unfamiliar dimension of creation and beauty.
I was not the first to start using spraypaint for making art and paintings ,
This form of art began in south America about 20 years ago , street artists were painting in the side of the roads , in live. They were painting fast with new and impressive techniques ,
Since they were concentrated in making money vs. making art , this form of art had not made it far into the art world.
I have come across it , for the first time , in Mexico , about 13 years ago , and when I first saw it , I felt the fire burning inside of me.
I was traveling the world , sketching , writing and photographing ; creating had become a way of life for me , and when I saw those street artist in Mexico I got strongly inspired and a new vision was forming within me ; to take this from of art and create with it a deep and meaningful art ; I felt this medium had the ability to express my fantasy , my feelings and my intentions and to influence many people.
Immediately I bought spray-paint cans and papers and started spraying.
For years I have been researching the material and it's different reactions with other materials , and as the results of this new friendship , the spray paint had revealed to me many secrets : that is how I had made up many new techniques that had indeed created a new and Original art ; art that express the moment in which I was every time I painted.
I travel the world for 15 years now and spirituality is a way of life for me ,
I learned the connection between art and the spiritual realm , I realized that the magic of creation Exist in every piece of art , and that a godly and mystical connection was directing and teaching me how to make magic and decided to research that as well.
The magic within my paintings is not only the magic of creation, I have learnt to put intentions while I am painting and in this way to create a magic which exist inside the finished paintings and influence the people watching at it.
I have also studied color and its psychological influence on people , I have researched all possible colors combinations and how the interaction between them works on the human soul.
I have learnt about this world as well as other dimensions of other realities , and of the world of the human fantasy.
I have researched the psychology of the human soul , by inner observation and by observing others
Eventually , all of this knowledge connected , in a magical way , into one vision , into a tool of giving and a public service and from this into fulfillment.
The art which I create with the spray paint combine a wide knowledge of material and spirit,Of color and soul , of magic and real intentions ; a knowledge of art and its influence over the history and the future.
These days , using my paintings , I create a strong and positive energy surrounding them ,
I influence and teach about love and cosmic connections , about giving and acceptance , about the moment and eternity.
These paintings are meditative therapic ,and it is possible to use them with guided imagination techniques or personal meditation ; they consist codes within them that influence directly on the heart bit and on the feelings ;
They create relaxation and a state of faith and hope , they create the reality by themselves.
I use different forms of energy and ancient symbols as the spiral or the circle in order to form the way of the energy connection between the painting and the viewer
Attempting to define this new undefinable art , I would say that it is a contemporary and futuristic art , spiritual art ,modern and expressive art , fantasy art and science fiction art.
The subjects that I feel close to and are been expressed in my paintings are different worlds and dimensions , possibly parallel to our world ;
Worlds in which everything is simpler , worlds where harmony rules and peace is a fact.
Relaxing worlds that help connect to the soul and the dreams within us.
Sometimes I paint Earth with the magical nature it reveals and fills me with inspiration :
Waterfall, beaches , seascapes , lakes and rivers , mountains , sunsets and sunrises , the moon, the sky and the horizons , and sometimes it is somewhere in space or on another planet , Mostly it is in a world that combines all the elements: from this world ,from outer space and from the world of illusion and fantasia.
I was inspired from nature and and the life forms in it , from intelligent beings as the dolphins in the ocean and the humans on the land, who are the link between spirit and substance.
I was inspired from the bodies that round us or being rounded by us ; the stars , the sun , the moon ,the planets ; all of them , I learnt , have a big influence on many different dimensions within us but most of all , I was inspired by my brothers and sisters, the human beings , with their sensitive soul and their profound wisdom , all contributed to my inspiration.
I create these worlds with the help of spray paint , my hands and the spiritual connection
And in this way , I challenge myself to design not only a club or a restaurant ,
But to design a new reality that is more harmonic , relaxed and is full with light and intentions of love , as it is in my paintings.
That is why I call this new category : ART OF LIGHT
the light is expressed by colors , by the sources of light which I paint and by the Ultraviolet light which I use in order to enhance the feelings in some of my paintings.
In other levels the light is expressed by the inner light within me and within the viewers as well as the original light that the paintings radiate by themselves , independently to anyone that is open to receive it.
