I am a pen artist from Canada and I love to express the wonderful world of colors through my artwork! I draw large scale designs on 22" by 28" or 24" by 36" poster board paper. The paper I use is thick and can absorb large amounts of ink, which in turn allows these deep textures you see in my art pieces. I primarily use roller ball pens and mostly from Sharpies, I also use ballpoint pens, especially black colors. I have recently started using Sparkler pens from Staples and these colors are so wonderfully bright and amazing in their consistency to shine from any direction, a little more difficult to photograph though. My artwork consists of design drawings that I make up as I go, there is no computer used for my artwork and it is whatever I come up with at the time I draw on paper. I have always felt a spiritual connection while drawing these design patterns and I always add new shapes and sizes to each drawing, no two drawings are the same unless I have a buyer desiring one in a different color scheme. I do commissioned work, please send me an email for examples and I like drawing Logos as well! I offer many cultural likenesses in my drawings, this would be that spiritual connection. These drawings are much nicer in real life as they must be drastically reduced for site requirements. Each drawing will take a minimum of 70 hours to complete and over 100 hours for the large drawings, the more details, the longer the piece will take. I must go over areas many times to allow the ink to absorb into the thick poster board paper. My drawings offer a peaceful and therapeutic sense to those who view them, and I thankyou kindly for taking a look!
