Pavel Campulka was born 1943 in Kladno, the Czech Republic.
In 1961 he graduated at High School of Arts in Prague, the Czech Republic.In 1972 he graduated at Arts Academy (VSUP) in Prague, the Czech Republic. His teacher was professor Z. Sklenar
16 solo exhibitions in Bohemia (former Czechoslovakia), 12 exhibitions abroad.
His paintings can be found in private collections in Europe and America (Germany, Italy, Norway, Ireland, Holland, Austria, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Canada, USA, Brasil and others.)
After the greater part of his collection was destroed (about 120 paintings) in 1992 he gave up the creative activity and engaged himself in other activities, working on his paintings only from time to time.
12 years later he again gives himself to his creative work.This small collection brings to attention the insteresting comparison of the artists earlier and modern creations. Despite the long break, the development in the artists work is obvious.Both in painting technique and in the means of expressing the creative idea, the artist Pavel Campulka has not lost anything of the special expression.
