I'm a graphic artist / illustrator specialising in print-based art for editorial and advertising. My work is very much inspired by people, particularly musical and cultural icons. I like to put the essence of the individual into my representation of them.
I would describe my style as a combination of hand-drawn, grafitti inspired mark-making and graphic printed surfaces and textures.
I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan in 2002 with a degree in fine art. After becoming somewhat disillusioned by the world of fine art, I explored other options in the realm of visual art. For about a year I have been pursuing a freelance career in illustration and graphic art. I have undertaken commissions for Wax Poetics, Drum and Grandslam Magazines and numerous private clients.
