Marko Echeverria was born in Santiago de Chile in 1966. He studied art at the School of Art of Santiago from 1981 to 1984 followed by one year of civil construction (Usach). From 1987 to 1989 he studied at the School of Art of the Catholic University of Chile. He practised engraving on metal in the workshop Jorge Lankin in 1992.
In 1989 Marko Echeverria arrived in Paris. He obtained a licence in Visual Arts at the University Paris VIII in 1992 followed of a training course of projector in architecture in Paris (Neel architecture).
He realised decorations for the television, the theatre and for events in several compagnies ( AB Broadcast, SFP, Theatre of Gennevilliers ).
In 2002 he had a formation with the tools of data-processing page-Setting, Internet and CD roms interactive in Imcad formations and in the Multi-media workshop of Ziggourat formations.
Since 1997 Marko Echeverria is the president of the cultural organization ‘Oblik Workshop’ in Clichy. Since september 2000 he is teaching drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts of Clichy.
Since sepember 2003 he is artist intervening with the PAJ ( Project Reception Young People ) in St.Denis.
Since 2003 he is the director of the cultural project »Live memory » at Clichy.
Since 2004 he is artist intervening at the primary school Leopold Sédar Senghor of Clichy.
