Been a metal artist for over 30 years, starting with lost wax casting in jewelry and diverting temporarily to Batik Dye painting. Which was helpful, as the techniques were very similar to dye use on metal and use of other tools.
Never been formally trained, but both parents were artists; Dad being a wonderful portrait painter. Love steel. It's flexible, tempermental and a delight to work with.
