Member since the very beginning
As a child I showed promise, but never developed it beyond that. For years I had the desire to paint lurking in the back of my mind, but lack of training and fear of not doing it perfectly kept me from doing anything. At age 33, after the birth of my first child, I decided to quit making excuses. I had an acrylic starter kit my dad had handed down to me, so I picked up a paintbrush and painted a pear. Five years later I still have a lot of growing to do. I've only had one formal training course, and one nude sitting. I long to take more classes or train under someone.
