Hi, I've always been quite artistic since I was at Primary School, academic subjects wasn't really for me. I studied A.Level Art and Design and Textiles and Fashion but wasn't really very happy with the results. I went on to College and studied a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design I later went on to study Fine Art at the University of Wolverhampton but after a year I changed to Print Making and Photography. After University I was employed as an Artist for a while at a Fine Art Print company in Wolverhampton. I also worked as a freelancer drawing or painting portriats. It was while working at the art company that I felt the need to give back to people, the help and support that people have given me, so I decided to do a bit of teaching.
I've always loved photography and adore taking photographs of people, nature, landscapes, or just anythink that catches my eye.
Photography for me is like capturing reality, a memorie, something that we can refer back to, a link to the past, a passage of time for people to see and to hold on too.
