My
passion lies in design and styling. Determination and dedication are just two
of my qualities, and I enjoy taking on new challenging projects. I am imaginative,
and using my natural artistic flair is the most effective way for me to express
my ideas. My recent experiences working alongside a television production team and
styling sets have inspired me further and confirmed my ambition to work within
the creative industry.

Assisting within the VM team
at the Oxford Street
superstore. Roles include dressing mannequins in windows and displaying products,
creating props for in-store display stands, sourcing and buying props and
materials.

Present Working within the
Production Design department dressing the in house studio sets to best
compliment various products. My job role involves being committed to long
working hours, using my creativity within a tight timeframe due to a quick turn
over of sets. I have undertaken many design projects including creating the
Christmas look for all 6 Studios and sourcing and creating dressing to
compliment this. My role also involves being the stylist on various promotional
and pack-shot shoots on location, mostly styling homes using QVC product and
specially chosen dressing. This has given me valuable experience working to a
time frame and in a busy environment, using my own ideas to make the most of
what is available whilst working with different teams.
I have recently
covered my boss whilst she was on holiday for three weeks. In addition to my
own job role this involved organising a team of 4 permanent and 4 additional
freelance staff, liaising with producers and independently planning sets for
daily shows. I was also responsible for arranging and designing the sets for
event shows and music performances.

Worked within a very small
department creating props and small sets for the daily live entertainment
show. My job role also included the sourcing
and buying of props and being responsible for the quick change-over of sets
during the show.

Worked within the production
team taking on various jobs including research for new and on-going projects, creating
and logging music cue sheets, substantial work creating visuals and artwork
which were used in a company pitch, sourcing and buying props and general

key role was to interview industry professionals and encourage publicity of the

Worked alongside the
production crew whilst filming the comedy series located in a mansion in
Elstree. My role was varied, including petty cash buying, researching, making
props and assisting during filming.

model making for a small set, petty cash buying, substantial prop making and

Experienced working on,
and filming a short documentary on an up-and-coming new band, �The Mexicolas�,
which was shown on Channel 4�s �4play� series.
Filmed in one of Birmingham�s derelict
factory buildings, the job entailed assisting the filming and camera
positioning of the opening title sequence.
Subsequent to the work
experience, I was given the job of logging the documentary, plus the logging of
another documentary interview with Sara Jorge and Anthony Crank, which was later
shown on T4.EDUCATION:

In my spare time I enjoy
keeping fit and spending time with friends. I have a passion for music and love
live gigs and music festivals. I am also interested in interior design and am
currently customising my new flat in London,
sourcing and restoring furnishings from markets and second hand shops. I enjoy
photography, especially black and white photography and have developed my own
photographs. I am progressively advancing my skills using Adobe Photoshop,
ImageReady, Vectorworks and Design CAD and have used them in my project work as
well as for personal use. In 2008 I returned from 7 months travelling in
Australasia and Asia, and my final month was spent working as a volunteer at an
animal hospital in Northern India. I enjoy
driving and have a clean licence.
