I work exclusively in the digital medium. However, it did require overcoming a inherent prejudice because of the cold clinical look of most digital art. I have evolved a style which is more organic in nature - less sterile. I was a working commercial artist for about 20 years. My forte' was designing and executing special effects, animation and motion graphics for television commercials and independent motion pictures. I started out working in sign painting and silkscreen printing shops and have a strong background in graphics which I tend to draw upon in creating art. In the mid 1980s, I had several showings on a Meso-American, iconographic style derived from Oaxaca (Zapotec/Mixtec) phonetic, picture manuscripts. My paints and ceramics were sold by Santa Fe Galleries from 1983 - 85. In 1985, I became involved with an environmental issue, which turned into a writing career until several years ago when I decided to go back to art. I am originally from Florida, but I have been living in Hoyland Nether - Nr Barnsley for the past six years.
