My story is a boring one, as most artists new to any scene are... actually it's just boring.
I started as a 2D artist doing mainly oil canvases by the dozen. A friend talked me into becoming a member in a local Michigan artists community (blue hair - light house and flower paintings) group. While there I was introduced to "Celuclay" A paper pulp medium that hardens into an Oak-like substance.
I did numerous freaky masks and sold them immediately, unfortunately before pictures were taken. From mask making I went into full figure sculptures, mostly "build in" figure art for a local bar... "Luna" in Royal Oak Michigan.
From there I got divorced, and am currently building a portfolio of fine art sculptures... leaving the freaky Halloweenie stuff behind.
Anyway, take a look at what little digital images I've been able to upload, and let me hear what you think.
I do it all, commission pieces, scary stuff, masks, 2D oils (no pictures here) and anything else that can go into a well balanced portfolio.
