I started my experience as a cartoonist in 2001. I am the author of the comic strip “InkSpinster”, published on a weekly basis on my website: www.inkspinster.com. A first collection of my comic strips was released in 2003.
I also collaborate with other comics-related sites and webzines.
I have created illustrations for different types of publications including advertising campaigns, books, magazines, leaflets, posters. I’ve participated in many exhibitions in Italy and Europe and I've received several awards in illustration, satire and comic contests (including 1st prize at the National Italian Comics Contest 2004).
I've experienced different techniques for my works, but the combination of ink and watercolor is my favorite so far… in my work, I aim to create illustrations that can be enjoyed by children and adults equally.
I’m especially interested in illustrating children books, and (although I like to write my own stories), I definitely enjoy collaborating with other autors.
I am available for commissions from authors and publishing houses.
