Statement
The two main influences on my work are my love of paint and my admiration of Australian Aboriginal art.I love paint. I love the way it flows over surfaces, highlighting texture or concealing it. Aboriginal paintings have a gorgeous palette and use deceptively simple motifs to tell multi-layered stories. I have to use layer after layer of paint in my work until it feels right. Of course the paintings have meaning for me but I like the idea of people making their own sense of the work.
Danny�s has been painting for 20 years. He studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths College and London Guildhall University in London.His work has an international following, being represented in collections in America, Switzerland and Japan.
