The name is Axel Alloy. Well, not legally, but it is my online alias. I
adopted the name of one of my favorite characters from an animation for
various reasons.
I am a professional artist/writer/designer
(Occasional voice actress) for an animation company and have worked on
various projects for them. I am rather fond of doing concept sketches
and full-colour illustrations, but I also enjoy writing just as much.
Reports, official guides, official fiction etc.
Not only is art
and writing my job, I also enjoy them as hobbies too. When I'm not
working, I enjoy nothing more than to sit scribbling away. Of course,
my personal work is never as good as my professional work*, but I'm
still just as proud of it.
Unfortunately, I had to resign** from
my job recently due to health problems. Namely 'Cubital Tunnel
Syndrome'. I was told it was caused by all the years of doing my job.
I've been off work since the 16th June 2007 and I had a nerve release
operation on my left elbow on the 1st of May 2008. I have been told
that when I have finished my treatment (Physiotherapy and a nerve
release operation on my right elbow.) I can return to work. Lord knows
how they've been coping without me. Haha.
* I never post any professional work online.
