Mal graduated from School of the Ozarks (now College of the Ozarks) in Branson, MO with a Bachelor of Arts degree in1984. He worked for several t-shirt design companies do graphics from 1987-2004. Briefly worked in signage before starting his company Creative Streams Art and Design. Since then Mal has worked on murals, commissioned paintings, pastel portraits, and designed logos, brochures, business cards, book covers and illustrations, cut vinyl and ads. Much of his art is done by hand, but he is also proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Sign Cut Pro. He continues to do artwork and projects in Branson, MO where he lives with his wife and kids.
