Description/Technique: A mixed media montage depicting some of the hip hop industries most notable artists, (painted mostly using oils). The picture tells a story with popular landmarks relating directly to artists as well as linking them to others. Lyrics are quoted on the front cover of newspapers and film strips are used to separate areas like a cartoon strip to give the feel of a storyboard like narrative.
