Victoria Aust's Online Portfolio
My Sample Artwork
I enjoy travelling a lot having visited places such as Madrid, Goa, Canada and New York over the years. I use these experiences to inspire my work along with current affairs or anything else that happens to affect my life. Of course I have never been far away from London and its beautiful arts and culture and I regularly take trips to galleries and exhibitions as well as theatre productions, which I love.
I have studied a Vocational A-Level in art and design and am currently studying a degree course in Graphic Communication at Surrey Institute of Art and Design in Farnham. This allows me to study art and design of the digital age, because I believe that is where we are heading, if we are not there already, but my passion is definitely still with painting and drawing.
I am currently working on three painting commissions but am quite happy to consider more for the future. Just drop me an email or visit my website for more details.

“This reminds me of being in spain on holiday. I really like your use of colour in this piece. It's very bold and striking and the composition works well. If I tried to do something like this it would probably end up on the museum of bad art website!”

“I especially like the blue shapes... They almost seem to be having a conversation at a cheerful yellow "table" but perhaps that's just the illustrator in me trying to find the story... At any rate, I just wanted to let you know that I really like this piece and I agree with Gilles that this would be great to see BIG! ”
Michael Auger

“This is a beautiful piece Victoria. I think Abstract painting is as a communicative medium and the individual painting is the opening statement in a conversation. If this is the case, then it behoves the artist to generate some explanatory notes and perhaps other (seried) works to keep the conversation alive and on track. In conversation generally, it's nice to know what we're all talking about especially when we find ourselves attracted to the initial statement (painting). I would love to see you speak in a louder voice (larger format) because I am interested in what you are saying here...”
Mitchell Foley
