I like the warm play of light in the image and the attentive look in the man's face. Their bodily postures seem to echo each others but not.
There seems to be a lot of symbolism in the image. Are the blossoms from the bamboo? I know they only flower once every thirty years. The men seem hidden from view, yet we as onlookers can see them clearly...
I wish you put info in your bio. This would help frame and contextualise of your work to certain degree... I mean all of us are different, so some clues wouldn't go amiss.
What medium is it? How big is it?

I also wanted to say the image reminded me of that painter who portrayed the tahitian women... I can't remember his name now, but that came to mind when I saw yours, except the people are men. Do you know who I mean? Nyanda Yekwai
I voted for this for Image of the Month, and then I sped to your page to learn more about you and your work, but alas, there is nothing else. Why not? Seeing the color and your work with the figure(s) is like pressing an ear to a stereo speaker; an intense eyeful. I hope you read English. Regretably, at this point, I don't know too much German (or any other language). Joan Schlough
