I'm a photo based Brazilian-American artist residing in Washington D.C area; in a vivid & animated family-community. I have musicians, artists & amiable expressionists in my life influencing me in becoming an artist and to break the fear of showing my work to the public.
My art profession basically started when I was searching for a particular study to focus my thesis on. I decided to head to New York to study critical art in Parson's New School University & intern at Sarah Silver Studio. In Brooklyn I lived by myself and felt society's persuasion; pushing me to focus on mostly visual & less verbal conversations. I was fixed on people & our environment, until it became a mesh of something spontaneous and clear. This realization of awareness opened me up to surprises & acceptance; insisting me to admire and express daily. New York experience ended.I returned to D.C., got my B.F.A. in Fine Art Photography from Corcoran College of Art + Design mid 2006 & I'm still continueing my admiration through expression in photography.
