Description/Technique: Digital photography, Photoshop CS ::::The photograph of this old toy was taken in the small village near Zagreb. It’s the only one from a bigger collection of dolls which survived war during nineties. My friend Ivana had several dolls and she had designed all of their clothes. When the war started she took all paper boxes with clothes but didn’t have time to pick up even one of her dolls. After several years, when she had an opportunity to come back to her old house, she has founded most of the things destroyed or stolen, but her first doll ever was tossed at the back of the ruined house… As you can see even old dolls have a dream too… …and now this doll is a part of the bigger project entitled ‘Triumph of the (W)ill’.
