    I am a self taught artist born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. I didn't discover I had any real talent in art until the age of 12 and played around with it a little between the ages 12-14. It wasn't until after the birth of my first child at 20 that I discovered I really could paint and had a tremendous passion for it. I believe that it was the love I discovered for my little baby that brought out so many raw emotions and steered me toward creating art. 

  Now after two more beautiful births I find myself more truthful and open with every painting. I work with many different mediums but, my most recent paintings are done using acrylic and oils. With every painting I try to tell a story, express and emotion or a lesson I have learned. My signature is "exaggerated eyes", the windows to the soul. I usually paint people that are different images of myself and other individuals I know and love. The are not look a likes more like a representation of said thought or emotion.

  I hope to share my love and life experience with you, the observer.  My goal is for you to relate to my pieces and feel the emotion. It is not always the easiest task to put myself, my experience, my feelings out there, but I do it because it is my firm belief that life is about sharing ideas and gifts with one another. I hope you enjoy all my pieces for they are meant to make you smile.
