I have been painting for the last couple of months. I have never study art past the ninth grade and consider myself a beginner, its more about the thrill of painting a picture then a polished piece. Although I painted when I was in my late teens I have not enjoyed it as much as i do now. I am now 27 and have been interested in either music or art at different points in my life. My favourite artists include Mark Rothko, Willem De Kooning, Picasso and Arschile Gorky. I really like abstract art and the development of subconscious thought onto paper. I hope people viewing my pictures enjoy what I have done, if this is achieved then I think that is good.
