In between Gent and Antwerp (B), you find

Belsele, a very small village. It’s there that Miriam Van Cleemput has her

studio. This female painter got her master degree painting at the academie of

arts Sint-Lucas, Gent. For now she’s more specialising in illustrationwork. She

also designs prints and patterns for textiles.

Her work can be described as a combination of

Belgian absurdity, comic, a subtle humour, a bit darkness and a bit happiness.

To capture her weird ideas and make them
