Title: Mermaid Princess

Description/Technique: Pen and ink outlines, colored using Photoshop. I’ve just finished off the colouring on an illustration taken from a new book I am working on, featuring Tass-Heyah, a mermaid princess, and warrior. Despite her parents requests for her to act more ‘princess-like’, she is stronger and braver than most of Neptune’s own warriors…. When the great undersea city is attacked by a large shoal of hungry sharks, ells and nasty little fish, she takes it upon herself to do her part. When Neptune’s warriors fall at the city gates, all looks doomed, until Tass-Heyah leads the invading army away from the city, saving her people. As she darts between the corals and vines on the seabed, with the hungry horde behind her, she stumbles and falls into a deep ravine…….. 100% (27 votes)
