I have recently completed my second year in Studio Art at Capilano College and in the near future am applying to Concordia University with the objective of completing my BFA.  Art, in its many forms, has been a perusal of mine from a young age as I have been raised in a supportive family that has always encouraged my self-expression. I was taught in several forms of performance such as dance, figure-skating, theatre, music and public speaking. Alongside extra-curricular activities I was devout to my personal artistic projects. This inherent desire to create has shaped my life in such a way that I seek out inspiration. I am interested in travel, foreign culture, psychology, philosophy, science, etc.  Up until recently, I worked at Sears Portrait Studio as a professional family photographer, which could be both a challenging and satisfying job. In that time I felt privileged to have the opportunity to work with children and be in a spontaneous environment that allowed plenty of creative freedom.  I have a passionate interest in portraiture as well as fashion photography. Showing this interest from a young age, I have explored both at length in free-lance work and personal projects.
