Curriculum Vitae of Karen Terry
Karen Terry (Kaz to you) aka pinktoblack, is a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and digital artist based Gateshead in the North East of England.

In 2007 she graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2007 with a BA (Hons) in design, multi media and graphics.


Karen taught herself Photoshop in 1996 and specialises in photo realistic illustrations. As well as Photoshop she has strong drawing skills and good knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign.

“Your technique is great! So great, in fact, that for a minute I thought these were photographs. Knowing they were paintings changed my perception of your work positively, but I think to add depth to your work you might want to incorporate more objects in a scene. I do love how clean and appealing your work is though. :D”
