Experienced Creative Designer and Studio Manager. Successfully worked in a number of

sectors in commercial design such as publicity, exhibitions and design for print.



Key Skills and Experience



Experience of working in a team on my own and as a team leader. Literate in both Apple Macintosh an P.C based design packages such as illustrator, photoshop, quark express, freehand and indesign. Also trained to use large format printers, flatbed scanners, digital cutters, specialised finishing equipment and communication technology. I have been responsible for customer quotations the style and output of a design team, stock ordering, implementing the use of new technology and the growth of the customer base.

2004 - Freelance Designer Photographer

Started my own design company 862design



2002 - 2003 Creative Designer Boyne Publicity

Responsible for the production of pre-press and print ready advertisements for blue chip companies such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborgini, Masseratti, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Subaru and Volvo for most of the major uk press and worldwide publications. This also involved the distribution of final adverts to the publications via isdn and internet.



1998 - 2002 Studio Manager The Sign Company

Responsible for the day to day running of the design studio which included the customer quotes, stock ordering, design style, the implementation of new technology and training the design team on all of the equipment. We produced Corporate i.d, signage, adverts, large format prints, stationary, vehicle graphics, point of sale and exhibition stands.



1994 - 1998 Assistant Manager Exhibition Department Repropoint

Responsible for the design and production for bespoke exhibition stands, point of sale graphics and large format prints for national and international companies.
