Paul and girlfriend, inspiration for painting was taken from photographs I took in Prison at Venice( no I wasnt in Prison) the dungeons and cells beneath the bridge of Sighs which links the palace to the cells. The swirl or loop is the stone wall with a crack to look out of cell to corridor and the only window, hence title 'INSIDE out'.

I love this one, Georgia..I could just crawl in there with a book, a torch and a packet of biscuits;-) The space looks mysterious and inviting - it reminds me of adventure novels I read as a child.
