(294) What's this? I do not feel like viewing other artists' works anymore since it takes from 30 to 60 seconds for the pictures to appear on the screen.

I don't know if you read on the
other thread but we are working on
a complete redesign of the site. It
is a very big site and has outgrown
it's existing design and some
people are seeing a bit of slow
down at certain times. I think
30-60 seconds is a bit of
exaggeration though.
Also, the site has seen an increase
of visits over the last month we
are now averaging over 250,000
unique visitors and 2,000000 page
views per month - all of this has
to be taken into consideration.

(4600) What's this?Today I spoke to the server team to see if there is anything we can do in the meantime about speeding things up. They are looking into it and so am I - I notice that the art work pages are averaging about 10 seconds to load, where as the forum is much faster at a fraction of a second. I will see if there is anything I can do.
