Forum - Uploading Problems
A few users have recently been having problems uploading images.
We have never been able to repeat the problems here - using
Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) as a browser has
solved these problems for most users. We are keen to fix this, if
you have problems uploading please reply to this message, and
give as much information about your set-up as possible e.g. your
browser, operating system (Windows, Mac, etc), file type, etc.
Also please email the files themselves to mail@voodoochilli.net
and we will try and repeat the problem.

If I'm using the free 7 credits can
I not have a picture bigger then
150 KB?

is the maximum size for the free
acount 150kb? as I would like to
have images bigger then thumbnails,
but I don't really want to pay for
the account (already paying for
one, and am broke)

Actually its slightly more than
150k, but 150k is more than enough
for large images. thumbnails are
about 3k

I'm having trouble getting my new
avatar up. It's well within the
size limits(actually smaller). When
I press save, the screen goes white
and freezes. I've tried with two or
three other images at different
size variations, all with the same
results.

It worked for me. Could you make
sure the image is a RGB JPEG not a
CMYK one? If that doesn't work,
please email me at
mail@voodoochilli.net with the
image.

Sorted. That was odd - there was
something weird about the image but
I'm not sure what it was. I copied
and pasted the image into a new
file and that sorted it.

I'm pretty sure it should be 70x100

I can't upload my picture. I tried
two different files, edited by two
different applications, using two
different computers... I used
FireFox, and Explorer with the same
results. I get the error log on
screen:
Warning: include_once(functions.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/voodoochilli.net/ht tpdocs/personalPhoto.php on line 5
Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:.:') in /var/www/vhosts/voodoochilli.net/ht tpdocs/personalPhoto.php on line 5

Don't know what it all means though, but it looks like a file functions.php was not found in the directory it should have been in.
I had no trouble uploading images of paintings (edited with the same software.)

sorry im a big newbie!
i uploaded my pics, they are only 8cm x 8cm, but i have to take it down really small to view it onscreen wheni look at the portfolio. I dont like it when they openin new window - is there any way of stopping this without loosing size. Other peoples folios seem to open the images up on that page but mine open in new windows..

Hi there.
You probably have a high resolution or large monitor. Make your images less than 700 x 700 pixels - we work in pixels not cm as each cm is different depending on each monitor. 700 pixels is about 3/4 of the width of most peoples monitors.
