Talk about anything that pops into your mind in here, over a nice cold beverage(or hot, if you prefer). Sports(American and everyone else, lol), work or play. Anything but art. And keep it civil, folks, or Marcus, that 300 lb. gent standing by the door will have to ask you to leave. Have fun.

Antony you could be right I racked my brain to try and work it out...
sometimes the simpliest things are just beyond me...
something more difficult I would have probably picked up straight away.

Cheers for that; but you are wrong mine is a virtual glass of pinot grigio blush, please.

Georgia, it's pretty quiet right now, so why stop at one glass... Barkeep, a case of the pinot grigio blush for the lady.

Tossing around virtual money is fun!

You can have a hangover if you want. Just don't drink and type. Spilt virtual booze is virtually impossible to get out of the keyboard...

I had a go at Hangman... I hope I need not hang my head in shame.

You think I would tell the truth in a virtual bar?
(looks to left, looks to right) I'm a byte slinger by trade... Program computers to aggravate people. Make computers do bad things like what the users asks to do, not what they intend to do.

Does anyone tell the whole truth in a virtual or any bar if it comes to thst.....

I feel most people keep something back.....or even create a new persona in drinking venues.

And on the Net too. On the net, no one knows you're just a parrot with some speech recognition software and a modem. RRRAAACK.. Who's a pretty bird. Polly want a cracker? RRRRAAACK. Darn not again.

why not create a new part of your persona wither it be in the pub, workplace or other such sites....it can lead to getting new experiences... be everything to everybody sort of deal.

Think I'll just have an Irish coffee today. Got a dose of the flu.

Hope you feel better Joseph; make sure there's a healthy dose of the 'irish' in your Irish coffee...might not cure the flu, but you'll cease to care about it quite so much...

sadly, I don't think gin (my current spirit of choice) and coffee mix too well...I'll just have to drop one of the ingredients from mine....hmmm...I wonder which one...? ;-)

Beer and coffee, now there's a combo. I hope you don't pour them into the same glass.
