Talk about anything that pops into your mind in here, over a nice cold beverage(or hot, if you prefer). Sports(American and everyone else, lol), work or play. Anything but art. And keep it civil, folks, or Marcus, that 300 lb. gent standing by the door will have to ask you to leave. Have fun.

Indeed we will. We will split up the chore to save all of our livers. Good luck with your surgery. I hope it isn't too serious.

Ahhh the Patriots lost. I wonder if the game was rigged?

That was the toughest defensive game I've seen in years. Manning did not deserve MVP. He didn't play any better than Brady. That may be one of the best SBs I've ever seen. I was rooting for the Pats, but that didn't help much. I guess my voodoo powers aren't quite up to snuff. lol

Wow I just watched the commercials for the Super Bowl on line. Usually they are funny, unique or cool. These were just al regular run of the mill schlock type commercials. I didn't even smile when watching the supposedly funny ones. Now I have absolutely no reason whatsoever to watch the Super Bowl.

Yea, there were too many CGIed animal ads. Get's kind of tired. You'd think they'd get more creative for $3 million a minute. And there was some racist panda bear/chinese ad that got everyone pissed. The only ad I was mildly amused by was the car going down a dark road and swerving to avoid Alice Cooper and Richard Simmons. I'll give 'em an A- just for putting those 2 in the same ad. lol

Yeah that was slightly amusing. It was weird to see how old Alice Cooper look. He's like 60 now I think. My wife and I saw Jethro Tull in concert a while back. and Ian Anderson is still hopping around the stage at 63!
The commercial that was most disappointing was the Doritos mouse one. Great set up with a crappy punch-line.
It's weird... you can watch a zillion really well done YouTube videos from creative folks trying to get a break and they are awesome, then you watch these made by folks with the big bucks and it's like ?????

I hope Anderson wasn't in those leotards he used to wear. Cooper may be older than that. I'll have to look him up.

You lucky beast Franklin its gone pretty chilly here, down to 8Degrees during the day but its gail force winds which puts the chill factor much lower.
Only 2 degrees last night had to put heating on.
Im going for a nice hot coffee this morning with hot bacon and egg butty (well they call it a bap on the menu)
But one good thing the days are getting longer(daylight hours now up to 10) and summer is on its way.
Gotta go now short lunch break today Plenty on, catcha all later maybe!

Well the constant presence here and the small range of fluctuation gets to be boring as hell. There is no beautiful fall display, no stark winter coldness. Just dull green, a little greener, OK pretty f'ing green, dull green, a little greener...
And the lack of consistent rain the last couple of years is a pain in the ass.

well here i am at the end of the day with no one at the bar except me and the voodoobot. he poured my second round and said he wanted to be my "good friend". I told him i had plenty of "good friends" and, these days, i'm only interested in "true friends".

"what's the difference?", he asks.
so, says i. . .
a "good friend" will bail you out of jail after you've been hauled in for drunk and disorderly after a night on the town. but a "true friend" is sittin' in the cell beside you sayin' "damn, that was fun!"

But a best friend keeps you from getting into jail, in the first place.

Well spoken Joseph.

I don't know if it the the constant talking with other artists or just a phase, but I have felt very productive lately. I am doing something new all the time and having fun with my art. Thanks for all the time and effort that everyone puts in here! It really is a pretty cool site.

Wow things cleared out here early tonight. I guess tomorrow is a work day. That's OK I might have a cold one or two while I draw.

I think we should have a contest to rename our automated babysitter Voodoobot. Give it a more personable name.

I wonder if the voodoobot is a boy or a girl?
