I spose I should set another puzzle as you are all talking books... I'll give the one I have just re read after many years in the bookcase....that is another clue...
3 words 8,4,6

--------/----/------

Clues
film
book
autobiographical ( I hope thats the correct word)

Yes Franklin it is Castaway by Lucy Irvine....... but I did give away that clue about the age at the beginning when I said I was re reading...I pick it up and read it quite often..
I also like the film with the late Ollie Reed drinking buddyof mine from Ville Franche....

Usually when I have read a book and they bring out the film later I find They dont portray it as I read it....but this one works for me.

on the same track a film I felt didnt work was Pappilion it started off brilliantly while the author was assisting....
but then fell to pieces towards the end too rushed, missed some very interesting features that was picked up earlier in the film...

But I think the author died mid filming or something like that; anyway he was not advising last half of movie....and boy it really is noticable....
Thats just my opinionSmile

Hi Georgia, Yes i also like to re-read books after films based on them come out. It's sometimes interesting to see how someone else interprets something you are familiar with. I've never read any Irvine.
