Hi Harry,
I am still experiencing freeze ups when posting to forum threads. This started to occur when we moved to the new server.
Today I posted to the Personal Websites thread. After I hit submit nothing happens. The site won't let me log out and it appears that my posting doesn't show...but it does. I have to quit my browser and then log back on to VoodooChilli.
I am experiencing this with Safari using Mac OSX 10.4.11 .... I'll check to see if the same thing happens with Firefox.

test
no, problem still exists
Does anyone else have safari on
OSX? Could they post a message here
and tell me if they get the same
problem?
I would like to point out I had
tiny problem today while typing the
text I had already typed just
dissappeared.
But I had already uploaded in other threads and they seemed fine
It could have been error on my part, I am not quite sure. No big deal.

for this test.
Worked fine for me!!!
Hi Franklin,
What version of OSX are you running?

Thanks Franklin.
That would eliminate the operating system and browser software variable.
Harry would this be related to anything in my browser preferences? I haven't changed anything.

Hi Steve
Not that I can think of. The fact that it happens for you on Firefox as well suggests its not safari itself.
Do you have all the latest updates downloaded from Apple update?

Yes, I do.
Not sure what else to suggest I'm
afraid. No one else has mentioned
it before and with 3% of the sites
visitors using Safari you would
think someone would have. I suspect
its something to do with your
computer, but I don't know what!
test from a macbook, using OSX
10.5.1 & Firefox
well, that worked...there must be
something amiss with my powermac
thanks for looking into it on your
end Harry...I'll see if I can find
out what's going on under the hood
of my computer
