The repeating interior shapes are beautiful. The painting starts to approach a tattoo/body art sensibility in rich color, form, and movement. My favorite section of the painting is right below the guitar players fret hand...the shapes running green, yellow, orange, pink, to red with black dots...and surrounded by the brown and black checkerboard. Bravo!
