Firefox is probably the best web browser, so if you don't have it already, consider downloading it.

This software has lots of image archiving and sorting uses. You can do things like crop and sharpen images among loads of other things. It also has a screen saver of all your own images!

The search tools are amazing, its like having google running on your computer.

The included Google Desktop and gadgets are great - a bit like Apples Widgets:
