i am heavily influenced by south east asian patternworks, the kind of patterns you see on batiks, sarongs and on asian/ victorian architecture decorations. I also dig art nouveau. Above all, I paint because it\'s like a therapy to me, to sort my thoughts out and to feel like i am capable of something :D

“The repeating interior shapes are beautiful. The painting starts to approach a tattoo/body art sensibility in rich color, form, and movement. My favorite section of the painting is right below the guitar players fret hand...the shapes running green, yellow, orange, pink, to red with black dots...and surrounded by the brown and black checkerboard.
